Parkside United Methodist Church organizes ministry planning and implementation into different ministry work areas or ministry groups. These groups include the areas of Education, Missions, Nurture, Outreach, Stewardship, Witness (Evangelism), and Worship. The ministry work areas strive to address the concerns and conditions of people within the congregation and surrounding community so that the church at large may grow in its spiritual walk and become better equipped for lives as Christian Disciples. Most ministries within the church fall under one of these work areas, and the chair of each of these work areas take their respective ministries’ concerns before the church council.
